Use this page to find the instructions for recording activities for our class.
Today, I want you to think about something you do not have and would like for your birthday. Please begin your recording by saying this information:
1. Your name (in French, complete sentence)
2. When is your birthday (in French, in complete sentences).
3. Explain something that you do not have (In French in complete sentence) USE ONLY VOCABULARY YOU KNOW IN FRENCH.
4. Tell me you would like it for your birthday (pour mon anniversaire....)
5. Explain why you want it if you can think of a way to explain it in French.
Follow these steps to record your voice to practice for your presentation.
1. Look up at top right. You'll see a green box that says "Start recording / Upload file." Click on Start recording.
2. Click on the grey box that says "got your mic ready, new recording. (the mic is built into the laptop).
3. If oyu get a pop up box that says audioboo is trying to access your computer, hit allow.
4. Hit the green button that says to start recording. It will change to a button that says "pause recording." You may now begin to speak. Start off the recording by saying "hello my name is...." and your real name so I know who it is who is making the recording. Then, record your script. When you're done recording your script, hit pause recording. You may listen to it and re-record it as many times as you want until you're satisfied with the recording.
5. VERY IMPORTANT Once you're done with your recording, click on "Happy? Add a title"
6. You must enter this information typed exactly as it is written case sensitive:
Tag: Je voudrais
Title: (your first name and period number. example Jean-Luc, period 3)
7. Now you're done. You can go to browse audioboos and your audioboo should be near the top of the group (for the moment anyway).
